I’m using a Yum rating factor with a maximum 5 Yum rating based on the following criteria:

Appearance

Aroma

Taste

Atmosphere

Something special

Atmosphere is the easiest to rate but the most intangible.  It has to be comfortable and it has to be positive.  I don’t want an angry barrista making my coffee and I don’t want an indifferent server pouring my wine.

Something special is either a general wonderful feeling or a knock you in the eye kind of extra.
